Morning HSR to Chenzhou. Visit Gaoyiling Danxia (2.5 hours) — Dragon Ridge, Giant Lizard Lake, Sky Ladder. Afternoon drive to Yangtianhu Grassland (1.5 hours) — a high-altitude grassland at 1,350m with windmills, Hobbit houses, and grazing animals. Sunset views are spectacular. Overnight in Chenzhou city.
Early morning at Dongjiang Lake for the iconic mist scene. Walk viewing platforms 2-4, watch fishermen cast nets. Then explore Longjing Valley waterfall group. Afternoon visit Feitian Mountain — stunning Danxia cliffs reflected in emerald Cuijiang River. Evening at Yuhou Street for Chenzhou cuisine. Overnight in Zixing/Chenzhou.
Early drive to Mangshan Wuzhi Peak (2 hours). Take the cable car up, walk the cliff-hanging glass walkway, and reach the Five Finger Peak observation deck with 360° views of the Nanling Mountains. Afternoon return to Chenzhou station for HSR back to Changsha, concluding the Chenzhou panorama tour.
